Composition

Halofuginone 0.50 mg (equivalent to 0.6086 mg lactate halofuginone)

Presentation

500ml and 1000ml containers with a 4ml transparent dosing pump (optional).

Dosage

The dose is: 100 μg/Kg p.v./day for 7 consecutive days, i.e. 4 ml /20 Kg p.v./day for 7 consecutive days.

Indications

In newborn calves:
- Prevention of diarrhoea due to Cryptosporidium parvum diagnosed, in farms with a history of cryptosporidiosis.
Administration should be initiated in the first 24 to 48 hours of life.
- Reduction of diarrhoea due to diagnosed Cryptosporidium parvum.
Administration must be started within 24 hours after the onset of diarrhoea.
